Training Requirements:
All sessions will be conducted via the Zoom platform. Registrants will receive an invitation at least one week before the training.
Participants need a device capable of both audio and video transmission, as this will be interactive training involving role-playing and active participation.
Participants must remain visible on screen throughout the training (except during scheduled breaks).
Please note that this training will not be recorded.
About the Trainer
Dr. Elizabeth Khanov is a clinical mental health counselor and owns Best Local Counseling. Dr. Khanov provides consultation for her local Children’s Advocacy Center and co-directs Project BEST, a statewide initiative to enhance access to evidence-based, trauma-focused therapies for youth in Florida.
She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology in Russia in 2012. Her clinical work and research concentrate on practical assessments and interventions for traumatized children, teens, and adults.
With over 15 year of experience delivering TF-CBT in both English and Russian across various settings (outpatient, residential, and community), Dr. Khanov has managed clinical service delivery at two children’s advocacy centers.
